my parents always tell me off for going online too much and chatting... but they're always on the phone wasting money on the bills because they always go over the cap. There are multiple reasons why me going online is better than them talking on the phone. Why? Because by chatting, I have an average typing speed of 80-90 words a minute where as my parents have an average of $100-150 phone bill per month, not including fees to unlock their service because they've gone over the cap =]

A big FUCK YOU to my mum =] Just asked her if she wanted to preorder my graduation photos because she's all about saving money you know. Typical Asian attitude towards purchasing things. Anyway.. If you preorder you get $10 off. Then she went on about 'what if it doesn't look nice' blah blah. Then I told her to stuff taking graduation photos because I HATE posed photos. She then glared at me. You guys may not understand it but my mum is the typical Asian mum. She's only happy when you achieve something great. When you achieve something near or close to great she's not interested. And this is MY graduation so I should be the one calling the shots. She only wants me to take the graduation picture so she can hang it in the living room and send pics to my family overseas to brag and shit. Annoying isn't it?! Well I told her to stuff taking the graduation pics because it's a big waste of money and that it's not like she supported me during my studies anyway. When I told her I needed to study she was like 'NO! You have to do your chores!' and there were a lot of times when I asked her to drive me to the bus stop or the train station early in the morning and she would act all moody as though it was SOOOOOO out of her way and a nuisance but when it came to my bro there were no questions asked because he could blow up in her face at any second. But I was polite about it but she blew up in my face about it. And she wonders why I'm a bitch to her and why I'm not like her =__= Why be something you hate right?! So yea.. 23 days till graduation. Whoopee

The Government's message is clear - a car is a form of transport, a way of moving one's self, one's family and friends from one point to another. A car is not a weapon. A car is not an object with which to intimidate, to threaten, to alarm or to terrorise. Our roads are not dodgem car tracks or speedways. Roads are not places for drivers to vent their frustrations on other road users. Roads are not places where aggression is welcome. To tackle road rage, to boost security and protection for all road users, the Government has decided to introduce three new offences: first, a redefined offence of menacing driving under the Traffic Act; second, a more serious offence of driving with intent to menace, also under the Traffic Act; and, third, more serious still, an offence of predatory driving under the Crimes Act.
Menacing driving, as the law currently stands, is difficult to apply because of the need to prove an offender's intention to menace. Driving behaviour can be clearly seen to be menacing, but currently there is no offence unless the intention can be established. To overcome this, the Government will introduce a new offence of menacing driving under which intent need not be proved. The new offence will apply if a person should have foreseen that his or her menacing actions could frighten another person, and, in fact, did so. For a first offence, menacing driving will have a maximum penalty of a fine of $2,000 and/or 12 months imprisonment. For subsequent offences these penalties will increase to $3,000 and/or 18 months imprisonment.
An example of menacing driving would be when a vehicle is driven very close to the vehicle in front, perhaps accelerating and braking suddenly, and where a reasonable driver would have refrained from the activity because of its potential to frighten the driver in front. Commonly referred to as tailgating, this can be very frightening in certain circumstances. The Government believes that where intention to menace is proved, harsher penalties should apply. The maximum penalties for the offence of driving with intent to menace will be, for a first offence, a fine of $3,000 and/or two years imprisonment; and, for subsequent offences, a fine of $5,000 and/or three years imprisonment.
The current maximum penalty for menacing driving is a $1,500 fine and/or nine months imprisonment for a first offence, and $2,000 and 12 months subsequently. Despite the strong stand on driving with intent to menace, the Government believes a further category is required for more serious offences. We have therefore decided to create an offence of predatory driving, partly modelled on provisions relating to intimidation under the Crimes Act. The maximum penalties for predatory driving will be: for a first offence, a fine of $5,000 and/or four years imprisonment; for subsequent offences, a fine of $10,000 and/or five years imprisonment.
Predatory driving would occur when the driving of a vehicle is intended to cause injury to another person or to damage property. An example of predatory driving would be a persistent course of conduct where a driver intends to do harm to another person, perhaps in response to what he or she perceives to be inappropriate action by another driver. For instance, this could be by continual tailgating, flashing of lights, overtaking and then slowing suddenly - behaviour akin to stalking with a motor vehicle. All three offences will involve automatic licence disqualification unless a court otherwise orders. Automatic disqualification will be three years for a first offence and five years for a second offence.
I also want to make it clear that these new measures will not be the sole category of offences involving motor vehicles. More serious offences involving assault, injury or death - in which a motor vehicle happens to be the weapon used - will continue to be treated not simply as road offences but, under the Crimes Act, as serious crimes in their own right. As with all road safety measures, there needs to be balance between offences, penalties and education. In conjunction with the new offences I have announced today, the RTA will continue its strong "sharing the road" campaign. This campaign is aimed at improving community understanding of the needs and obligations of all road users, and encouraging restraint on the roads. The Government is committed to making our roads safer. The new offences announced today will make a significant contribution to that task. Drivers, particularly women drivers, can feel intimidated on our roads. These new measures will provide increased protection for drivers.

my somewhat cruel but honest statement: I want to put my parents in a nursing home now. Mainly my mum though. She keeps nitpicking at everything! She may as well live in one of those Asian nursing homes where they have more freedom to do things yet are still looked after when it comes to food (if they wanna cook themselves they can) BUT! the place will hire professional cleaners. Then she can die a happy woman.. HONESTLY! She keeps complaining that the house is dirty yet she's the one that wears her dirty shoes in the house and brings in dirt and stuff like that walking from the front to the back and in circles around the kitchen and living room. UGGGHHH!!
OH! My major pet peeve. Just happened moments ago.. again.. with mother.. I hate it when someone calls me over.. tells me what they want.. I do it.. then when i finish they tell me to do something else.. But what makes it even worse is when they ask you to get things. I shall write out a dialogue for you.
Location: Living room
Mum: can you go to the kitchen and get the salt? Me: *goes to get the salt and returns* Mum: go get the soy sauce Me: -__- *goes to get the soy sauce and returns* Mum: here.. heat up the bowl of rice for me Me: IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE YOU WANT ME TO DO WHILE I'M THERE?!?!?!!?!?
and then mum clicks it kuz I clicked it at her -__- omfg.. that is so fucking annoying. She may as well tell me everything else she wants while I'm still in the kitchen! HONESTLY!! Maybe I should pretend to be bed ridden because of either I'm sick or I got into an accident and just tell her to do all this shit one after the other after she returns from doing each one. SEE HOW SHE LIKES IT! >=P
Ok.. tomorrow is D-day for studying for my finals.. ugggghh.. It's a good thing I'm only sitting for 2 exams.. and even better that I only need about 5 marks to pass.. but if i wanna get a distinction or high distinction.. then I have to study =[ boooo.. 2 weeks of my life wasted with my nose burried in books =[ BUT! It'll me my last exams ever! As I (if i pass these 2 exams) will have gotten all the credit points I need to graduate out of university =D YURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR! 17-18 years of my life wasted at school.. booo haha

WHOA.. almost a month since I last wrote in here.. dunno what happened.. I used to write here a lot ahha.. VENTTTTTT keke GUESS WHAT! I handed in my last academic assignment today.. FOREVER! MUAHAHAHA It was a research exercise for my International Marketing class and a written task for my Japanese 101 class =D
Today was particularly good because I received my research exercise from last week back for my International Marketing class and.. I got 100% ^__^v ahhaa omg how Asian is that emoticon XD OH! and for my Japanese 101 class, we had to do a 1000 word essay on the Japanese culture.. I did it specifically on Shintoism and how it should be explained in the lectures because it is inseparable from modern day Japanese culture... AND! I got.. near 100%? Between 90 and 100. The teacher didn't give the exact mark back because students would calculate how much they'd need to get to pass the entire unit and not put in 100% effort for the final exam. Reasonable because if students get a really good overall mark it'd make the lecturer and tutors look really good in the deans eyes, and the university board members. But I really wanna know my mark haha.. when I returned from 'Hyuna' and when I returned from getting coffee at the convenience store on campus during the in-class break.. the teacher was talking about it to a fellow student and explaining the things he needed to write about and she kept using my essay as an exemplar. I don't think he was very satisfied AT ALL at his mark haha but I guess he did have a handicap because he's an international student (from Brazil).
ARRRRRNEEEEWAYS... Gotta figure out what I'm going to do until stuvac... seriously dunno what I'm going to do.. kuz between the end of week 14, I have about 10 days to study for my finals.. and.. I'd finish writing up all of my notes in the first 2 days. So studying the same thing for the following 8 days is going to make me fall asleep after reading the first sentence haha
ok.. I'm off. Dunno if this was a sufficient post but.. my new post-it notes will definitely suffice =D
